In the article is discussed the works where are given the history of study of Kolkheti bronze primary and secondary metallurgical production hubs. In particular the mining production monuments located in Kolkheti mountains, the bronze production workshops existing in Kolkheti valley, metal-processing and chemical analysis of copper-bronze artifacts.

The fifth archaeological conference which was held in Tbilisi on September 8, 1881 at 12 o'clock and was solemnly opened in the Palace of Viceroy plaid a great role in the course of archaeological study of Georgia and the whole Caucasus.
