Greenhouse effect of atmosphere has been becoming more and more apparent during the last decades (since the end of the 20th century).
Global warming is the worldwide rise of air- and water temperatures as observed for the past decades. The phenomenon is thought to be the initiator of a worldwide climate change that has started several years ago and thought to continue for the next decades. The exact effects of global warming can not be predicted. One of the most spoken of effects of global warming is a worldwide rise of sea levels.

Paleo-geographical Interpretation of Gareji Archeological Monuments

In the central part of the Iori Upland, situated in the Eastern part of Georgia – in Gareja-Iori region, which is distinguished by the number of its historical-cultural monuments of high conservation value (mid-centuries complex of monastery of David-Gareja with the bright pieces of architecture cut in the rocks), quite diverse and interesting complex of archeological monuments (sites of ancient settlements, burial mounds) of all stages of Bronze era (II half of the IV millennium – end of the II millennium B.C.) and Paleolithic era (beginning of the I millennium B.C.) have been exposed by the archeologists

The Black Sea coast of Georgia. A possible area for archeological discoveries

The Georgian Black Sea coastal zone - the surface of underwater slope of the sea at 10-12 m from the bottom, a beach and directly adjacent to it the coastal land-line of several hundreds of meters in width was adopted quite intensively by a man during the recent 5-6 thousands of years.

Phasis. The Sunken Town. Myth or Reality

Exact location of the Black Sea costal town Phasis of Antique period has not been identified till today in spite of attempts of many researchers. Old literary and historical sources have kept very poor information about this really one of the most interesting by archeological and historical point of view event of Georgia. Records of Antique period researchers (Aristotle, Arianus, Strabo, Plinius, Pomponius Mela, Ptolemy, etc.) about Phasis are general and exclusionary, which is a main problem for identification of its exact location.
